In part one, Hernando opens up and gets vulnerable about his struggles early on in his career, his divorce after being married for 13 years, and really dives into his mentality as a dad after the divorce.
Hernando is one of the most vulnerable, energetic, passionate people I’ve had the pleasure to connect with. He is the current Head Basketball Coach for the New Zealand Women’s 17U National Team and former Associate Head Coach at Duke University. He’s also coached in the G-League, Japan, and was a head coach for the Slam Ball Bouncers in 2002 and 2003.
He is a keynote speaker focusing on topics such as leadership, connection, and communication helping organizations connect, lead, and grow with their heart, soul, and mind. He’s the founder of Be Contagious, LLC, which focuses on spreading love, happiness, and joy.
On top of all those accomplishments, he is a Sports Choreographer for movies such as Coach Carter, Semi-Pro, and The Longest Yard just to name a few. But what tops all of those things, and you can sense it from him, is that he loves his two kids to the fullest!
