It’s been a while since we’ve put out a couples podcast, and we like to keep it 100 on feelings whenever we do. In this episode, Mr. Hallease talks about how he’s (not) adjusting to being in Atlanta as a registered nurse. We cover social anxieties, feeling like you’re backtracking professionally, being a simpleton in a big new city, and much more. If you’re new to the podcast, thanks for watching/listening! We’re happy to have you. Transitions are hard. Welcome to a slice of ours!

In this episode of the StumbleWell Podcast, Hallease and Chris discuss an article in which a married woman decides to receive an erotic massage to reclaim her sexuality. Through the podcast we ask a simple, yet complicated, question is this cheating? The answer to that question aside, this article opened up our conversation to issues around sexual frustration that can come up in heterosexual relationships and how difficult it can be to repair miscommunications during intimacy. Keep it classy in the comments!

After taking 2 years off from nursing, Mr. Hallease will be going back to work. Why? Well, in short, taxes. In long, we're in the process of relocating to another state and that coupled with what we owe for 2022 in taxes that math wasn't finna be mathing anymore. Anyway, in this episode of the podcast, let's get into it. We'll discuss potential regrets, fears about moving, and much more.

Are we trapped in our marriage together? I hadn't thought about it before until doing an interview with Kimberly on her YouTube channel where we talked candidly about the power dynamics in our relationship and how money impacts that. It was after that conversation that I couldn't help but wonder, "Am I the drama?" In this episode of the #stumblewellpodcast Mr. Hallease answers that question.

Is it weird to daydream about your partner dying? Apparently not. According to marriage counselors and researchers, wanting a hard reset in a relationship is pretty normal. So normal, it has a name, a phenomenon known as the spousal death daydream. In this episode of the StumbleWell podcast, we'll talk about this peculiar phenomenon and how it's changed over the course of our relationship. #marriagepodcast #couplespodcast #stumblewellpodcast

What do we like to do together for fun?
Who takes out the garbage now?
What is one thing we like about our sex life?
How have we helped each other through hard times?
Are we still on the same page about monogamy?
What is something that's worrying you that you haven't told me yet?
How can I help you feel more loved?

The Pope recently went on the record scolding couples who decide to have pets instead of kids. On this episode of the #StumbleWell podcast, we discuss his statements. Full disclosure, Hallease is not catholic and Mr. Hallease is a "cafeteria catholic" at best. We discuss how Pope Francis' comments can be tied back to different ideas around race, gender, and money. If you've watched a few episodes of the podcast then you know we're comfortably child-free currently so we found Pop Francis' comments interesting but also not surprising. We also discuss the bigger struggles of larger institutions as well. Keep it holy in the comments y'all!
