Wow I can't believe this is our 20th episode! - Amos Mercier and Risa Schorno join me as we shop talk about their new jobs as tree planters! - Its super fun because they're both good friends of mine, they're both killer musicians, and they both have quite a bit of life experience compared to most rookie tree planters. 

Amos, an eccentric, van living musician and poet talks about his previous life as a church pastor and how he did not tolerate rookie "hazing" from second and third year planters.

Risa, innately musical, improvisational and always flying by the seat of her pants in search for adventure, gives us perspective on going tree planting while being away from her son, Zakai.

They tell me about their bush camp romances. 

Amos and Risa collaborate on two insanely beautiful original songs. - I join them on the end by butchering an old classic.
