The Portland Thorns salvaged a draw on the road against the San Diego Wave thanks to a stoppage time penalty kick by rookie center back, Jayden “JP” Perry.

Jeff Agoos and the Portland Thorns have just announced JP’s contract extension to 2028.

Before heading off to Mexico for the Concacaf W Champions Cup, the team is off to face the Houston Dash who will be without Diana Ordóñez (leg) and Yazmeen Ryan (face). Portland will be without Mackenzie “Macca” Arnold (leg), but Isabella Obaze is not listed on the availability report.

Also, Sam Hiatt was nominated for the Lauren Holiday Community Impact Award.
