  • 054 | How to Find Freedom from Wine O’Clock and Still Have Fun | SoberSis

In this episode, my guest Jenn (aka SoberSis) and I have a real and honest discussion about women and alcohol. As a new empty-nester and a retired "grey area" drinker, Jenn found her passion in life. She created the SoberSis community, a safe place for women to have a conversation about alcohol without judgment, labels, or rules.

Jenn also started the 21-day reset for women to share what she has learned and experienced firsthand. With close to 20,000 women from all over the world, they are more of a sisterhood of women pursuing being present and sober-minded, with the opportunity and space to renegotiate their relationship with alcohol.

Follow Jenn on Instagram @Sobersis to learn more about her 21-day reset. Go to www.sobersis.com to download Jenn’s free Happy Hour Survival Guide for her 5 tips for skipping the wine tonight and feeling great in the morning.

  • 052 | Don’t Overthink Your Way To Success | Jewelry Designer and Entrepreneur Lisi Lerch

Hey there, Warriors! Have you ever had an idea that kept nagging at you? It could be the universe’s way of telling you something. That’s what happened to my next guest. Lisi Lerch started her company in the Spring of 2001 while working full-time in the recruiting office at Cornell University. Her brand initially offered classic Kentucky Derby hats that she was inspired to create due to the lack of affordable women’s hats she saw in the marketplace. A few years later, she decided to test the waters and dabble in jewelry-making, which became an instant obsession.

Lisi’s advice to entrepreneurs is to not think too much into it and just do it. Life is too short so dive in and take on each problem as they come. Plan A most likely won’t work out so it’s best to always have a Plan B, Plan C, and so on.

Listen in to our fun conversation to hear about the celebrity bridal shower Lisi and her team attended and created personalized hats for. So much fun!

Check out all of Lisi’s fabulous products at www.lisilerch.com.

  • 047 | The Many Benefits of Intermittent Fasting | Interview with Laurie Lewis

Welcome back, Warriors. We all want to look and feel our best but it’s a struggle sometimes, especially when we hit 40 and the years leading up to menopause. In this episode, my guest and I are discussing the many benefits of intermittent fasting as a way to help. Laurie Lewis is an intermittent fasting coach and author, who while going through menopause dealt with brain fog, lack of balance, memory loss, and the sudden gain of 50 pounds of stubborn hormonal fat. She tried everything she knew to feel better, and the methods that worked in the past made no difference. After four years of struggle, Laurie stumbled upon Intermittent Fasting and started fasting that very same day. The menopausal fog lifted in less than one week, she had more energy and felt more “like herself.” She lost 51 pounds in 15 months and has kept it off for years!

Now, at 57-years old, Laurie has turned her personal success into the premier thriving Intermittent Fasting coaching business. As a certified health coach (Institute for Integrative Nutrition) she combines her knowledge of nutrition with deep research and practice of Time Restricted Eating. Laurie guides her clients with a dream come true -- eat the foods you love and enjoy the rest of your life feeling vibrantly well.

Learn more about Laurie at www.FastForwardWellness.com and check out her book on Amazon Celebrating Your Vibrant Future, Intermittent Fasting for Women 44 to Forever. You can also find her on Facebook @FastWithLaurie and on Instagram @fast_forward_wellness.

  • 045 | Love Heals All - Body, Mind, & Spirit | Interview with Deepa Mehta

Hey there, Warriors! Welcome back to another episode of the Suburban Warrior podcast. I am excited to dive into today’s conversation with another amazing Suburban Warrior, coming to us all the way from Malibu, California. I really enjoyed this conversation with Deepa Mehta, where we discussed one of my favorite topics, the healing arts and nourishing ourselves. While we all do different things, our mission is very much the same, which is to empower others to live their best lives, really understand and nourish ourselves, and know we all have this infinite potential inside of us.

Growing up in a household that fused scientific, natural, and spiritual knowledge, at a young age Deepa developed a love of using this knowledge to help others. Her mission is to be a continual student of the healing arts in order to better help treat and nourish the body, mind, and the spirit as one and to support others in their healing journeys.

Deepa uses her knowledge, intuition, and training of energy (reiki), food, nutrition, yoga, movement, meditation, and various other modalities to assist others in working through physical, emotional, or any other types of blocks/issues. Over the years, her tool belt has grown, and so has her love of nourishing and nurturing others. Her passion is to help people achieve their greatest expression of self, attain optimal health, and feel nourished- mind, body, and soul.

To learn more about Deepa and her offerings you can visit her website www.lovedeepa.com, connect with her on Instagram @lovedeepa, and find her YouTube channel at OmMade Kitchen
