Success on Purpose Podcast with Chris Creary

As we are walking with God on a daily basis there comes a time when he was direct us to just go. Make the move. Change your position or step out in faith and do what he put on your heart to do. There are examples of this all through scripture and we can use these examples to help build out faith to step out of our comfort zone into the bigger plan that God has for us.

For those of you who don’t follow American Football, the Super Bowl was last week.  This is the season finale where a champion is determined.  This year the LA Rams won the Super Bowl.  In addition to this, the top wide receiver on this team was awarded as Most Valuable Player. His name is Cooper Kupp and he had an amazing season where he had the most catches, yards and touchdowns in a season for a wide receiver this season.  I’ve never heard him speak before but when they announced that he won MVP I finally got a chance to hear his heart in that moment.  He sounded very humble and greatfull for the opportunity to play football and win the MVP. During the post-game interview he shared how God gave him a vision and God caused that vision come to pass during the Super Bowl.  Here is a short clip of his interview when he shared his vision.  There are some things that we can learn from his experience that I’ll share in a moment.

We all have those moments where we want to give up. Those moments where we are either mentally/physically drained or aren’t seeing the results that we want. I’ll admit, it’s frustrating to work day in and day out and not have the success you know that you deserve but giving up is not the answer. Giving up is the easy way out but it will not solve anything. This episode will encourage you to persevere to complete the task that you’ve started.

There are some Christians out there who think that God wants to punish them or that God is waiting for them to fall and sin so that he can take away something that they have.  But that is not the God that we serve.  God loves you and wants to bless you abundantly. He wants you to have good things and enjoy life as we go through every day.

We all have dreams but the challenge is to remember them when we wake up. What do we do when we have a dream or a call from God. This episode will share some examples of people from the Bible who had dreams and calls from God and what they did so that we can learn and apply in our own lives.

Whatever challenge that we are facing in life, there is a Bible passage that we can read to learn how to deal with that situation. This is one of the reasons why it’s important to read and study your Bible. So today I’m going to cover a few situations ( I can’t cover every situation in life. If I did this episode would be about 100hrs long...lol) but there is not a situation that the Bible doesn’t cover. You just have to know where to look.

Today we are going to TAKE AUTHORITY!! In this episode we are going to stand on the Word of God and enforce his promises over key areas of our life. It’s important for everyone to know what God promised and it’s important to confess and pray those promises over our lives. We are going to give the enemy no room to cause problems in our lives for 2022 and as we place God first over everything, the rest of your life has no choice but to be blessed because of that decision.

Most time I spend about 1 to 1.5 hours researching and writing down notes for each episode. But today’s episode was just a flow from the Holy Spirit that came out in about 15 min. I was literally in my bed about to sleep and felt the anointing to get up and write this for the next episode of the podcast. It’s an encouraging exhortation today. I hope you listen to this Holy Spirit download and be blessed by it. I hope it sets you in the correct mind frame for the rest of this year and even beyond that. I would encourage you to listen to this episode as many times this year as you need to. I’ve mentioned some Bible verses in this episode but you can get the entire list of verses that I used for this episode by downloading the notes in the description.
