God broke the mold when he made each of us. We are one of one and there is nobody that can take our place. Similarly, we have a specific role to play in this world and we shouldn’t want to be like anyone else either. We are unique and god made us to fill his Kingdom mandate in this world. We need to play our part. All of our Spiritual gifts, heart, abilities, personality and experiences make us who we are and that exactly how God wants to work through us.

The word favour means to feel or show approval or preference toward. When Gods favour is over your life it means doors open when they aren’t supposed to. It means thousands of people apply for the job but you’re hired even though you are not the most qualified. God favour means that everywhere you go, things are always working out for your benefit. Apathy is defined as a lack of interest, enthusiasm, or concern. Can you imagine living your life without being interested in doing anything, having no enthusiasm or concerns? Living an apathetic life is not the will of God for you and I can say that with confidence because I know that God wants you to at least be concerned and interested in growing in the things of His Kingdom and also many other areas of your life. Today we’re going to talk about breaking out of a life of apathy.

In all theology there is an aspect of psychology because the mind needs to be renewed in order to grasp the concept of God. This is why Romans 12:1-2 is such an important verse for all Christians. Furthermore, God doesn’t do things like we would. His ways and methods are much different than ours and his wisdom is much higher than our own so God uses circumstances and situations to get exactly what he wants to happen out of them. And most of the time it does something in our own lives to bring us to another lever in our Christian walks.

I know there are a few bible verses that speak about disciplining children but I never studied it before preparing for this episode and I was amazed at the wisdom that I was able to learn from scriptures. Parental discipline is enormously important in the growth and development of every child. If you look at teens with behavioural issues or adults in prison, when you investigate back into their lives more often then not, there was a lack of parental discipline as a child. So parents, you have to do this, and you have to do it right.

What’s a stronghold. A negative spiritual stronghold is a habitual pattern of thought, built into one's life that is often influenced by demonic activity. It’s a mindset where a particular cause or belief is strongly defended or upheld. Strongholds like these are hindrances in the lives of believers because they restrict them from living out the full will of God for their lives.
