How many of you listening can explain to a non-believer or skeptic of the bible why you believe it in? If you say anything that references any part of the Bible then it doesn’t prove to someone who doesn’t believe in the bible that is true. The fact of the matter is not many Christians can articulate what makes the bible true or why they believe in the bible more than any other religious book. I recently read an article written by Hank Hanegraaff on the reliability of the Bible. Hank also host a podcast called the Bible Answer Man Broadcast. In his article he went over an acronym that you can use to explains the authenticity and reliability of the bible. It’s called MAPS. I’m going to go over it today and you can learn and easily remember how to explain why you believe in the bible.

In this episode I’m going to talk about Gods Character. The world often tries to describe who God is based on their experience or they try to portray a god that fits into the box of their life. They do a terrible job at this because they don’t know him and as a result it hard for people to wrap their mind around the true loving nature of God. They can’t grasp how much God wants to encourage them and do them good all the days of their lives. They say “Acts of God” are when disasters happen but they don’t understand or comprehend that God is capable of doing great amazing things that are in our favour because of His great love for us.

Bibliology is the study of the Bible, the Word of God. The Bible is the inspired source of knowledge about God, Jesus Christ, salvation, and eternity. Without a proper view of the Bible, our views on these and other issues become clouded and distorted. Through studying the Bible we find that

1. The bible is Truth
2. The bible is Authoritative
3. The bible is Holy Spirit Inspired

The Uniqueness of Scripture The Authority of Scripture The Revelation of Scripture The Inspiration of Scripture The Canonicity of Scripture The Interpretation of Scripture The Illumination of Scripture The Sufficiency of Scripture

There are so many other religions out there and so many books that these religions use to base their life philosophies on but there is something about the bible that sets them all apart and today I’m going to go into what make the bible true and why you can trust what it says. I’m going to show you that it was God inspired and orchestrated by the Spirit of God.

This episode will challenge you to check your heard and relationship with God.  I was doing my daily devotions and came across some bible verses and begin to judge myself against what the bible said.  I wanted to see how well I stacked up compared to what God’s words said.  If I wasn’t doing what the word said, then the Holy Spirit would convict and encourage me to do better.  I hope you will be blessed from this episode.

There’s a lot of false information and fear being spread today all caused by the pandemic that we are still in. As of the time of recording, I’m in June 2021 and it looks like there is hope for us to begin a new normal as we come out of the pandemic. If you’re like me, you probably been having church online or outdoor service for a while. No large gatherings and non-essential retail stores have been closed. But as we emerge, there are a lot of falsehoods being shared and misinformation being consumed by people on social media.

I would like to use the platform of this podcast to share hope and to equip you on how you can discern the truth and why I believe we are approaching the last days but are not there yet. I’m going to give you scriptural support for everything that I’m going to say and I encourage you to do your own study to confirm and support what I’m going to say here. You will see it is scripturally sound and correct.

What I’ve realize is that there are certain songs that are so much more powerful and anointed than others.  What I found out was that these certain songs are using bible verses that are taken straight from the Bible.  In todays episode I go over some songs that ae some of my favourites and show you where in the bible they are taken from.

We need to be cautious about the decisions that we make daily. Though some choices we make are small others have large implications to our future and the future of our families. Throughout the bible we see plenty of situations where the decision of one person caused tremendous consequences, positive or negative, on their entire family. Let’s look into a few of those situations so that we can see what we can learn from them.
