Reading the Bible is one of the most important things that you can do as a Christian and actually every new believer should’ve heard from their pastor would have told you that you need to read your Bible. And it’s not only important for a new believer in Christ, but all Christians need to spend some time daily in the Word of God. It gives us an opportunity to hear what God may be saying to us for that day and also we can grab hold of his promises for us for that day. Rejection is such a tough emotion to deal with. Unfortunately some people have had to deal with it in the worst scenarios like being rejected by siblings, parents or long-time friends. It’s difficult to overcome the feeling of rejection. What usually comes with it is low self-esteem and worthlessness. We all want to achieve great things but as we go through life every now and then we might feel that you are overlooked, insignificant, not able to contribute to anything worth talking about or anything that could make a big difference in the world for Gods glory. Thinking like this may cause us to go down a road of low self esteem and eventually depression. It’s often one of the hardest things to do. Wait on God‘s timing. The reason why this might be so hard is because God never really tells us the exact time he’s going to actually answer our prayer or do something. It just happens when he’s ready. So the challenge for us is to wait until that time comes when we don’t even know when that time will be. Thinking about this I could say that God probably does it like this to help us to develop our faith in him. But let’s talk about Gods timing today.

So regardless of what the prayer request is we need to always remember what the word of God says about asking. Asking God for anything that we need is not wrong actually he encourages us to ask him for anything that our hearts desires. And it’s in asking him that he can show himself strong and provide everything you need in your life. So why do you need healing financial breakthrough help finding a house to live in or if you just want peace from your enemies you have the right to go to God in prayer and ask him and they are promises in the word of God given to us that he will give you answers to those prayers so that’s what we’re going to talk about today.

We need to make sure that we take the time to think carefully about what we allow into our minds. Today it is simply too easy for anyone to go online and say anything and some people are so naive they will believe anything without getting truth to support it. One that I’ve heard recently is that the covid 19 vaccine is the mark of the beast and that you shouldn’t take it. This makes absolutely no sense because when we take that lie and hold it against the scriptures in Revelations we would see that the mark of the beast is mentioned after the Church has been raptured, the anti-Christ would’ve been revealed and the tribulation would’ve already started. So the vaccine being the mark of the beast is completely not accurate because it doesn’t line up with scripture. This is the type of careful thought that we need to give to the things that we face today and that is what this episode is about.

Eventually as we go through life we will come into a situation where we need to give it take constructive criticism. As a matter of fact we should all have people in our lives who can give us tough feedback that we need to hear. If we don’t know how to accept this feedback then we can continue our lives with blind spots on issues that we need to deal with to live abundantly as Christians. And it’s just as important to know how to give constructive feedback to others as it is to receive it.

Contentment is a very important character trait that we all should have. Without it we would never be satisfied, and always want more and more. Contentment a state of happiness and satisfaction. It’s when you can look at all that you have or accomplished and say “thank you Lord for all that you’ve done in my life”. As we begin the year of 2021, we all set goals and hope to accomplish great things, but we need to remember to be content where we are and give thanks.
