  • 109 Dr. Linda Mintle, "We Need to Talk"

Sue Duffield chats with "new" friend (but they've known about each other for years), Dr. Linda Mintle, and brings to light that conflict isn't bad - it's just how we deal with it. "We Need to Talk", one of Dr. Linda's latest books, is the discussion today. She is a bestselling author with 20 book titles to her credit, a radio host of the Dr. Linda Mintle Show, professor, national speaker, winner of the Mom's Choice Award, a national news consultant and featured writer for Beliefnet.

It is rare that a trained academic who speaks passionately to the heart of people providing real answers to real life problems is so relatable. And leave it to Sue to draw that out even more on this episode! They get "tawking", since Sue is a Jersey girl - all the while Dr. Linda's cerebrally funny personality and expertise comes through whether she's helping her audience stress less or laugh a lot when she shares how a student once called her Dr. "Mental!" Priceless.

  • 106. Lauren Talley

This super fun chat with gospel singer Lauren Talley, is nothing more (or less) than a down-to-earth conversation with an endearing personality. This singing communicator and influencer has a whole lot more going on than just her music, recordings or stage life. Lauren's winsome wit and connecting ways are a mere reflection of the life she leads, as well as the talent she possesses.

"My job as a communicator is to give people the truth of the Gospel," Lauren says. "I want people to know that Jesus is everything - He's the Answer the world is searching for, He's the solution to all problems and He's the only One in whom we have real hope. He called me to give people His message when I was 12 years old, and fulfilling that call is all I've ever really wanted."

Born into a rich musical heritage, Lauren sang her first solo at age 2 when she toddled onto the stage, interrupted her family's concert and announced she wanted to "thing." Lauren went on to make her own mark on the gospel music world as a member of her family group, The Talleys, with whom she received numerous awards, including a 2015 Dove Award for their song, "Hidden Heroes." Lauren's lead vocals shine on eleven number one hits for the group.

  • 103. Be Ye Flexible

"Blessed are the flexible for they shall not be broken." That's not exactly in the Bible... But being flexible takes on more than just muscle and bone. It takes heart too, especially in relationships. Jeff and Sue Duffield continue in their "bending" of the rules in a creative and inspirational way. This devotional of an episode takes a look at the life of Peter and his inability to change. Pay attention to those areas of your life, that prevent flexibility. (NuvoFlex is the product mentioned too!)

  • 101. Car Chasing!

It doesn't take much for the Duffields to get on a tangent or rant about something! This, by far is one of the craziest ideas for an episode they've had in a long time.. EVeRYTHiNg CaRs! And there's been quite a few vehicles in their history. And speaking of history, that's pretty much how they've remembered events - by recounting and reminiscing about the car or vehicle that surrounded everything they did! So, join the "ride" here, and be sure to send any sentiments or stories of your own to Sue - she just might make an episode out of it! [email protected]
