You Need Therapy

Suicide Awareness & Prevention with Taylor McLeod, LMSW

Listen Later

September is Suicide Prevention and Awareness Month. So, this week Kat (@kat.defatta) had one of her very best friends, Taylor McLeod, on the show to talk about how we can support all of our friends during these hard times - even the ones we may not know are struggling. Taylor works in crisis prevention & intervention and has a HUGE heart for those who feel alone, misunderstood, and looked over. In this episode you will hear us talk about why it is important for EVERYONE to be a part of these conversations. You may not realize it but suicide effects ALL of us. Please listen and share this episode so we can continue to fight the stigma attached to suicide and mental health and help our friends get the support that they need.

If you or someone you know is struggling with suicide or suicidal thoughts and ideation please call the national suicide prevention hotline: 800-273-8255
