This week on The Sipping Point Laurie was joined in studio by Ryan Sparks, Beverage Director at Bookmaker’s Cocktail Club, who mixed up some great cocktails to sip on these last days of summer! Samantha Flottemesch from Moveable Feast joins us to tell us all about Dining Out for Life an event where 50 restaurants (including Bookmaker’s) will donate a portion of their sales on September 17th to Moveable Feast in the fight against HIV & AIDS.

What we tasted:

Bookmakers Old Fashioned:

2oz Old Grand-Dad Bonded Bourbon 100 proof

.25oz PF Dry Orange Curacao

2 dashes House Barrel-Aged Bitters

1/4 tsp raw sugar

Orange Peel

 

Blind Melon 2.0:

1.5oz St. George Green Chile Vodka

.5oz Ancho Reyes

.5oz Fresh Lime Juice

1.25oz Fresh Watermelon Juice

Thai Basil

Watermelon Radish Garnish

 

The Carozza:

1.5oz Cream Sherry

.75oz Blended Scotch

.5oz Becherovka

.25oz Cinnamon Syrup

2 dashes Havana & Hyde Bitters

Lemon Peel
