This is a series for listeners of all ages. We hope that you learn about the life of Apostle Paul.

Have you ever heard of the story of the boy that cried wolf? When we display one type of behavior and seek to change that behavior to something else, it will be difficult for others to accept that we have changed. In our story, Saul is currently know as Saul the persecutor which frightens some of the new believers. Peter then comes to the aid of a Godly woman named Dorcas and raises her from the dead. Then Peter has an encounter with Cornelius, the Captain of the Guard of the Italian Band. As he prays daily and studies the scriptures God calls out for him. Then he is commanded to send for Peter. Peter fights internal struggles whether or not to goto “unclean” people but Jesus gives him advice in a very peculiar way. All of these stories have one thing in common; they all love the Lord and seek to totally praise God. Will God reveal His plan to all mentioned today?

Have you ever regretted something that you had done? I think that we all, from time to time, regret things that we do. In our story, Saul begins to show remorse for his part in persecuting the church and putting to death all those Christians. He is often plagued by the positive testimonies of all those that he has put to death. He is on his way to Damascus and on the way there he is struck by a bright light and encounter Jesus Christ right there on the Damascus road. He is blind and now depends on the very people that he tends to persecute for help and nourishment. He then begins to preach Jesus Christ as the scales fall from his eyes. Once he was blind, but now he sees. What will happen to Saul as he deals with this new Christian faith that he persecuted.

Have you ever had someone come after you with the intent of seeking to hurt you? In our story, Saul increases his exploits to arrest and persecute Christians. He continues to persecute the church, which forces them to go to the furthermost parts of the earth. Phillip, travels to Samaria to spread the gospel. He begins a mighty work there and God blesses his work. However, there are people that attempt to exalt themselves to win the respect of people. Frauds like Simon try to win the approval of people by trying to fake God’s power. However, when the people see & hear Philip say that he is willing to die for the cause of Jesus, they believe on Jesus. Will this deceiver try to win people and challenge Phillip?

Times are beginning to be difficult for the disciples. Peter and John are arrested and secured in jail until an angel of The Lord releases them and they resume their preaching at the temple. We also see that the disciples begin to appoint members to the office of deacon to help with church ministration. The religious authorities of the day quickly arrest one of the newest deacons, Steven, and place him on trial for his life. This trial is moderated by an adversarial foe of the disciples. His name is Saul of Tarsus. He is a Pharisee and hates the teaching of Jesus Christ. During this whole trial Steven projected Heavenly grace and poise. At his stoning Steven saw Jesus stand up before he died. Steven cried “I see Jesus” and he begged God to not lay this sin to their charge before he died. What will happen, now after this death of a follower of Jesus? Will this move the disciples to stop sharing their faith and give up?
