Summer Series Podcast 2016

This is a series for listeners of all ages. We hope that you learn the events that lead to the death of Jesus Christ on the cross.

Where you there when they crucified my Lord? Where you there when they laid Him in the tomb? Jesus Christ is dead! What will humanity do? The priests are scared, the disciples are sad and the Romans are skeptical. Was He the Son of God? What will we do? Asked the disciples. We will bury in Him in a new tomb. The devil laughed in victory as Jesus died on the cross. Does this mean that this world belongs to him now? Is he the ruler and supreme king of this world? Is humanity forever lost? Was it as a lie or is there still hope?

Is this how we treat the creator? Did He deserve this? What will become of Jesus?

Have you ever had troubles so great that your soul fainted? In our story, Jesus is arrested by the religious leaders, betrayed by His follower, deserted by His closest disciples and falsely accused by many of the ones that seen His miracles. Now He faces the high priest and a possible meeting with the Roman authorities. If it goes this route then Jesus will face certain death. Some of the disciples remain behind to see what will happen to Jesus while others flee. These same disciples are seen getting cozy by the fire of the very ones that cursed and denied Jesus. Peter denies Jesus three times and reminded of this by the roster. Even though all of this has transpired and everyone has forsaken Him, Thou, O Lord, Art A Shield Unto Me & The Lifter Of My Hands! Only Jesus can give sweet peace in the face of death and terrible defeat. What will happen to our Lord Jesus Christ during this time?

Would you go after him or would you run? This is a tough question to answer but it is something to ponder. In our story, Judas for 30 pieces of silver has betrayed Jesus and now he leads them to the master. Jesus struggles to deal with His future fate but submits to the Father’s will despite His own desire. Upon His arrest, Peter cuts off the ear of one of the guards and Jesus restores it. The disciples all scatter and Jesus is left alone to face His accusers. All one can do is think about the Sacred Head Now Wounded by the authorities that He came to save. Today, man still hates Jesus Christ and seeks to destroy Him but God is eternal and can’t be destroyed. Will Jesus break free and run away or will He stay and accomplish His divine mission?

Does He have it all wrong or will the people turn their hearts and minds back to Him.

This is a series for listeners of all ages. We hope that you learn about Jesus Christ's knowledge of the scriptures and His desire to educate the disciples of the future.

Do you believe that Jesus is eternal? This means that Jesus Christ had neither beginning nor an end. This is why we can eternal life through Him. Only an eternal God can grant His mortal creations eternal life. In our story, the doubters try to tempt an eternal God with temporal questions of which He confounds them. The disciples ask Him about the future and He gives them a glimpse into glory. Jesus reminds the disciples that life goes on even if He will not be with them. We all should remember that Jesus may not be with us today physically but we have the comforter that guides us and leads us. Will the disciples and others except this truth or will they write it off as a random though?
