SUNANDBASS Podcast

SUNANDBASS Podcast #19 comes from Clarity – the name on a lot of people’s lips right now.

Soon after starting to send his music out, Clarity’s tunes were jumped on by all who were lucky enough to hear them. Sparse, stripped back, ice cold yet immensely powerful, the sounds he was producing belied his tender age – and of course with tracks like this, it wasn’t long before labels such as Samurai and Exit were knocking at his door.

His performance damaged SUNANDBASS this year, and now he’s back for more – let’s call it an early Christmas present. Get wrapped up, the volume up loud and check what the man has in store for us all…

As we all try to come back down to reality, we thought we needed to give you another dose of SUNANDBASS podcast goodness - and we’re honoured to have the legend that is Doc Scott at the controls.

Check this out, Scotty nailing the freshest vibes as always, here’s the perfect soundtrack for your post SUNANDBASS blues! Keep your chins up, only 51 weeks to go! ;)

Nymfo steps up to the controls for Podcast #17, get ready!

Already well known for his DJing with many years of experience under his belt, Nymfo is also a well respected producer, working closely with Commercial Suicide but not just stopping there, also clocking up releases on seminal labels such as Ram, Metalheadz and 31 Records.

This mix is a lovely warm up for September, check it out!

3. Pupo dal vivo - Gelato al Cioccolato (1991)

…because it just makes sense

4. A Guy Called Gerald - Humanity (feat. Louise Rhodes) (2000)

…because it’s what brings us all together as one

5. The Cure Live - A Forest (1984)

…because every year you discover something new

6. India Arie - Brown skin (Blacksmith Remix feat. Sol) (2001)

…because not everybody can take the heat

…because in a week, many things can happen

…because you can feel a little fragile on a Wednesday

…because you need to be brave

11. Black Sabbath - Sabbath Bloody Sabbath (1982)
