Saquon Barkley continues to be unstoppable and Jalen Hurts shook off the remnants of his injury concerns as the Philadelphia Eagles saw nothing but red in sea of Washington defenders. Jayden Daniels' effort was valiant but a double nickel later and Philly will also being seeing red AGAIN in a Super Bowl rematch with the Kansas City Chiefs following their 4th straight clinching appearance in the BIG GAME with a victory over a torched Buffalo Bills defense after a great many questionable play calls, especially in short yardage. Josh Allen falls to 0-4 versus KC in the title game.

Washington breaks through to Championship Sunday for the first time since their last Super Bowl of 1991 where they will meet the Eagles for Round 3 of their NFC East rivalry. The Chiefs were once again buoyed by some favorable officiating and despite a vintage Travis Kelce performance, a very pedestrian outing by Patrick Mahomes. PLUS, who will meet KC in a battle of MVP hopefuls.

The 14-win Minnesota Vikings had us all thinking Super Bowl run up to a couple weeks ago but with one egg laid seeking homefield versus the Lions, they dropped another dud in the California wildfire-supplanted Wild Card game against the Rams. LA didn't miss a beat in Arizona, the defense was ferocious tying a playoff record 9 sacks and Matthew Stafford's arm continues to find the fountain of youth.

PLUS, Buccs McGee & nutmeg2palmetto look ahead to Divisional Weekend to preview some pretty tantalizing matchups. Or... so we think.

Bad look for the Broncos in their playoff opener. One play of success and a whole afternoon of pain versus the Buffalo Bills. The Eagles looked a little shaky and used a whole lot of caution with Jalen Hurts' return however the Green Bay Packers left just WAY too much to be desired. And of course, the aftermath of a nail-biting finish between Washington and the Buccaneers as rookie phenom Jayden Daniels leads his team to the Divisional Round against the Lions.

Everyone figured, including Buccs McGee & nutmeg2palmetto that the Houston Texans just had too much wrong with them this season to make much of a noise. Well, the turnover bug and poor line play doomed the LA Chargers chances at a playoff victory. Just where do the Bolts go from here?

And the Pittsburgh Steelers seemed to be missing some of the usual playoff grit. A near-perfect Lamar Jackson shook off playoff woes and Derrick Henry unleashed the beast to put the Baltimore Ravens on cruise control into the Divisional Round.

Rematches abound! Buccs McGee & nutmeg2palmetto break down Round 3 of Steelers-Ravens and a full circle tilt of the season between the Green Bay Packers and Philadelphia Eagles. 

Are the Buffalo Bills on upset alert? They welcome the upstart Broncos into Orchard Park and the reeling Texans await Jim Harbaugh's Chargers to town with Justin Herbert playing top level ball at the right time. 

The Wild Card round goes out with a bang with another rematch of Rookie of the Year hopeful Jayden Daniels getting another crack at Baker Mayfield and the team that welcomed him to the NFL, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. 

And on Monday Night, the well-rested LA Rams see if their gamble to rest doesn't turn around to haunt them as they welcome the darling of the league, Sam Darnold and the Vikings to Tinseltown.

The Eagles and Bills locked up their 2-seeds and oh, those Vikings, they sure look primed for a postseason run.
