Michael Penix made his debut against the hapless Giants and the Rams held serve in New York in their quest for the West. Not sure what the Bills are doing but it was revealed Josh Allen has been playing with a broken hand. And speaking of the walking wounded, Jalen Hurts left that Washington with a concussion. Just when we thought the Eagles were looking like favorites in the NFC!

Speaking of close, it seems like every week is a new favorite in the NFC West, with another loss, does the 49ers chances of Super Bowl glory inch ever closer to diminished. Minnesota survives a spirited effort from the Bears as Chicago can't seem to buy a win right now and the Houston Texans with one more collapse for the ages. Can we just blame it all on the injuries?

PLUS, the Cowboys finally looked like a professionaal organization but were they merely just fortunate for Washington's continued struggles in maturity.
