To openly do something we know is wrong (or to sin) is not the behavior God wants from us as followers.

There is a power that is available to all of us as parts of Christ’s body, but for that power to be unleashed in us there has to be an attitude shift, and this is not natural to us, but supernaturally driven.

From the beginning, God has had a plan to adopt each of us into His family. And with that plan comes all the blessings. However, it might also include some things that are hard. Like in Paul’s case, it might mean persecution or imprisonment.

While many believe Jesus was real, or was indeed killed, some don’t believe His claim to be God, or the disciples claims that He rose from the dead. But there is overwhelming evidence that He did.

To be omnipotent is to be all-powerful. And for most of us, there is a strange attraction to power, whether it’s a powerful personality or some display of power, like a thunderstorm, or an explosion. But real power belongs to God alone...

According to David, God is aware of every moment of our lives or is aware of every little detail, good and bad. And the reason why is because He is all-present and all-knowing. But more importantly, if you’ve read David’s other psalms, you know God’s reason for being constantly present with us is because He loves us like a good parent. But unlike our earthly parents, God knows exactly what’s going on in our minds or in our souls…and therefore knows how to truly help us.

To be Omnipresent means that God is everywhere all at once. Which means, God sees everything that’s going on in the heavens and on earth. In fact, from what we’re told in the Bible, God doesn’t just exist everywhere in creation and see everything in creation all at once, He’s actually holding it all together in some sort of loving embrace...

On the Day of Pentecost, with all that happened concerning the commotion of the Holy Spirit’s arrival, and then Peter’s convincing explanation (Joel 2:28-32; Psalm 16:8-11) which led to 3,000 people being baptized into the church, there was a lot to talk about in the following weeks. Meaning, there had to be numerous people sharing what happened with those who weren’t present. But that’s not all they shared. In fact, the Holy Spirit empowered everyone to share a lot more than just cool stories...

Clearly Jesus expected His followers to be committed to their relationships with each other (John 13:35) In fact, the plan was for followers to continually develop their relationships with each other, for the purpose of helping one another in some powerful ways (Hebrews 3:12–14) So the truth is, one of the biggest differences between followers and fans, is that true followers stay committed to relationships with others no matter what...

Paul was a vicious and ruthless man before coming to Christ, and referred to himself as the worst of sinners (1 Timothy 1:15-16). And even though Peter was never charged with murder, he slashed off the ear of the High Priest’s slave at Jesus’ arrest (John 18:10) which kind of qualifies as attempted murder. But after receiving the Holy Spirit, sympathy (or empathy) became a part of their lives and what they wanted others to embrace as well...
