Sunset Grooves

Our wonderful cousins from Switzerland, Wildfang, have another wicked EP being released crafted magically by the talented Gulivert. An EP full of mysterious melodies, tribal beats and a strong musical journey. Enjoy this bad boy!

Track Info:

Gulivert - Lapis Lazuli EP

Lapis Lazuli, is a deep blue metamorphic rock used as a semi-precious stone…

``When it comes to spiritual enlightenment, it all starts with the self. The Lapis Lazuli crystal helps us go deep within our spirits to awaken our true destiny and divine purpose. That's a big job for a sedentary object, but you'd be amazed at how this dazzling stone shines a light on the soul and its innate ability to heal. The color of water, the life-giving element of the planet, the Lapis Lazuli crystal meaning represents the many shades of sapphire blue, the color of self-expression and awareness. ``

1001 Nights is the second Original on Guliverts EP, deep oriental touched instruments and a driving character are made to ride away on this carpet of sounds.

A B O U T

From the Parisian underground to the dusty Nevada desert, follow Gulivert’s travels and let the magic happen.

Overwhelmingly acclaimed for his house bangers released on Catwash Records and Roush Label, his visit to Burning Man helped unearth his most authentic sound and transformed his point of view from pure groove to something more suggestive, psychedelic and spiritual. Debuting his live show the following year on the infamous Robot Heart art car not only completed the circle, but also signaled that this promising talent had found his true voice.

With his addictive sultry beats, hearty bass and feel-good vibes, he is now spreading the fun and the good word of music from Berlin to New York, London, Tel Aviv or Ibiza…

We have reached the 7000 mark which is quite unbelievable seeing how small the idea was when we released the first podcast over 5 years ago. Anyways this mix is vinyl only from the groove meister Oldchap. It has been a while since our last vinyl only so we are very lucky to have him put together some quality hidden gems on wax. A DJ and renown producer hailing from Paris, he is a fantastic digger of absolute groovy tracks and his selection is on point to give you a lovely flowing mix. Having produced on labels such as Smokecloud Records and Masterworksmusic amongst others, he is one of those underground artists who knows his stuff and when it comes to groove he has 110% of that.

Sit back, relax and click play.. if you need motivation at work or you need to kick off a couple of dance moves then you better click play! Make sure to check his soundcloud profile and give him a follow as his productions and other mixes are absolute quality.

Merci beaucoup pour ce superbe mix!

Huge supporter of Yarni since we came across his profile over a year ago. A producer who has taken the underground house scene by storm with his own quality productions and nifty remixes. Hailing from Sheffield in Northern England, he runs his regular UK Mondo radio shows and therefore enjoys putting out all sorts of different musical genres and hidden gems. We are therefore delighted to have him put this 90 minute mix full of super duper house tracks that have disco influences. His recent productions have been very much into the downtemp / deep house genre and we are happy that this platform has provided him an opportunity to mix something out of the ordinary.

Get your dancing suede shoes on and bust some moves to this wicked set from our main man Yarni! Make sure to follow him on Soundcloud as he is always coming out with new tracks as well as quality track selections on his radio shows.

Big thanks Benji for this!

Damn cool release from our friends WAYU with the consistently good Rapossa! We are happy to Premiere this exquisite remix by Ōme who takes us on a proper tribal journey!

Track Info:

Rapossa brings us Dogma as if a statement of passion that awakens the future of new world music while celebrating deep ties to the past and the discernible geography of the origins that make up this Sultan swagger. It is yet another enchanting EP from Rapossa, this time invoking the story of a sultry journey through the doorway to the East to encounter a dreamscape that enchants the senses.

Marked by intensifying progressive oriental beats, can you also see the sounds and hear the colors on this magic carpet ride? As if flying over wind-blown orange desert sands, suddenly you've been called to the spice market and then to the temple to worship, except this journey marks the calling of a different type of devotion. Get so easily caught up in imagination, visualize the sultry swaying silhouette of a curvaceous belly dancer and a hypnotizing tambourine trance - leaving you with nothing less than the urge to dance!

Embrace the opportunity to discover hidden secrets behind a shroud of mystery, like the adornments of the East; the vivid colors and trinkets decorating the veil of the dream lover dancer and as you pull it aside, a thousand years of history can be revealed in the reflection of her eyes. She takes you by the hand and pulls you into the Sultan King's procession where you join in the ecstasy of the other hysterical devotees and majestic elephants, throwing flowers before their path, celebrating life, the announcement of new love, victory, in rhythm with the heartbeat of the night.

Dogma includes remixes from Al Lindrum, Mio & His Flute and Ōme

A long term fan of Hilary and her way of concocting diverse musical journeys every time she is behind the decks is something we have always loved about her. Known for her downtempo magic, she has gone for a mix that is more uptempo and it truly is fantastic. She is the go to artist whenever big DJs come to San Francisco to partner up with the likes of Bedouin, Stavroz, Billy Caso, Matthew Dekay or even Satori amongst many others. For those living on the other side of the atlantic she will be taking part at the Gardens of Babylon event end of July in Germany, so make sure to catch her there along with the other fantastic artists.

Full of good vibes and endless smiles you can certainly feel the positive attitude Hilary gives off when she is behind the decks. Having done mixes for some of the most renown podcasts on Soundcloud it is an absolute pleasure to share this mix with you music gurus!

Make sure to swing by her profile to check out her other mixes!

Big hugs and a massive high five for the mix!

A wonderful easy to the ear piece of music by Thds with their track Botânica off their upcoming EP Panacea. This is a pure sunset grooves track, summer time vibes, feel good music putting a big smile on your face. An absolute pleasure to premiere this track being released next week.

Panacea -

a solution or remedy for all difficulties or diseases.

synonyms: universal cure, cure-all, cure for all ills, universal remedy, heal-all, elixir, wonder drug, perfect solution, magic formula, magic bullet;

thds is a teamwork between Belgian-Portuguese multi-instrumentalist ‘Raoul’ and Belgian-Colombian vocalist-percussionist ‘Pierre’. Growing up in the same Jesuit forest school, they have developed a natural and resourceful brotherhood. Being influenced by their own cultural roots, they harmoniously combine acoustic and electronic music with organic world music.

The duet is obsessed with simplicity. Their musical will is to reduce superficiality to quintessence: life, nature, truth. Therefore they experiment around the themes of happiness, ecology and multiculturalism.

The two brothers started thds in April 2017 with a documentary video about their childhood city of ‘Luik’. They released ‘Peace Green’ in late 2017 on Lump Records (Chile-Mexico) and 'Walonreye' on Akumandra (NYC-Mexico) in 2018.

On this EP we have also 2 beautiful remixes from Lerr (Montenegro) & Rabih Rizk (Lebanon).

Helios, god of the sun is the messenger of the cozy and slower part, organic and harmonic, to find the right mood in the daytime.

Selene, god of the moon is sending us into the night, deeper, darker and stronger, to feel the driving force of our dance floors.

Following artists will be your guides for this journey through time:

Alaix Pulse | Alvaro Suarez | Arteriam & Warte:mal | Dolph | Echoel | Fulltone | George X | GUZY | Ioanis & Don Son | Joep Mencke & Deep Filip | Kaan Üner & Thommie G | Kapoor | Landhouse & Raddantze | Lars Neubert | Parallells | Passierschein A38 | Rabih Rizk | Sander | Savvas | Stil & Bense | Thorsten Walker | VANDER | Victor Norman | VieL | Vincent Gericke | Nikolai Wotafak | youlaike |

Helios & Selene

A constitution of the mighty interdependence between 2 opposite sides, both influencing our being in a specific way and each depending on other. Without darkness no light. Without day no night. Dive into this symbiotic interaction of two melting dimensions and join the circle of life. Feel the unit of time.

WFM001 Helios

Explore the strength of the daylight, sent by the god of the sun, Helios. Positive vibes caused by the full spectrum of lightwaves, filling up your energy level with power to resist till the next sunrise. Pure bliss will be gained as a side effect. The magic of these live creating conditions will always be impressive.

WFM002 Selene

After light comes dark, after the sundown the moon is rising. Selene, sister of Helios and god of the moon is lightening us the way through the darkness, as it orbits our world, and its gravity keeps the tides moving. The beauty of our shiny natural satellite gives us what we need to face the dawn.
