Join Mike Butler and Mike Field as they discuss the 2011 film, "Super 8" from director JJ Abrams and produced by Steven Spielberg, starring Elle Fanning, Kyle Chandler, and Joel Courtney. The Mikes talk about this film being a direct homage to the 70/80's films by Spielberg, the lack of character journeys for many of the kids at the focus of the film, as well as big changes made to a key character in the film.
