After having so much fun discussing the Season 2 premiere episode of Creepshow a few weeks back we decided it's only right we return to discuss the rest of this eagerly anticipated season. We go over the remaining 7 segments and give our thoughts on them all, pick our fav 3 from all 9 from Season 2 and rate overall how this season compared to the previous season and specials. After we had so much fun talking about Wes Craven recently and having a bad experience with on demand horror last week we decided to continue our ongoing series as we work our way through the great man’s entire horror filmography, break down the good and the bad and ultimately rank all the films. This franchise was seminal for us as young horror fans (especially the sequel which we’ll get to at a later date) and we go over everything from amazing dog actors to the stunning finale that leaves us breathless every time. Elsewhere this week; Scream (5) follows the franchise tradition of multiple endings and scripts and Rob Zombie’s next project seems even more likely.

Cinemas are still closed in the UK so the biggest fight between two monsters ever just had to be experienced not on the big screen for us. Last year we did 4 retrospective shows on the Scream films and had a great time. So much so that we also wanted to occasionally look back on other Wes Craven films and rank them as we go every so often when we have a quiet week until we eventually have SHB’s definitive Ranking Wes Craven list of all his films from top to bottom. Well now we are back and going straight back to the start. The Last House on the Left is one of the most impactful and important horror films ever made and we dissect everything from it’s crazy censorship in the UK to the most zany cop characters we’ve ever seen in a film. Elsewhere this week; we react to the brand new trailer for Spiral:From the Book of Saw and get extremely excited for cinemas to return with this film. Evan Peters is playing a serial killer in an upcoming Netflix show as part of a worrying trend. One of our favourite TV shows is back. After two epic specials recently; Creepshow is back for a fully fledged second season and we couldn’t be happier. Ahead of it’s premiere we discuss the first two segments which offer us completely different styles of Creepshow stories and we can’t wait to discuss the rest of the season in the coming weeks. Shudder continues to fill the void that no cinema releases has left us as we go back to the service that continues to get better and better over the last few years. Lucky promises a cool premise of a killer attacking the same woman every single night in a time loop reminiscent of Happy Death Day. Always down for a good slasher we give our verdict on if this film is another great addition for the amazing Shudder or one to skip over.
