This week sees us discuss a film that’s been in a lot of headlines over the past month having already secured some big wins on the awards circuit and looks to continue that momentum in the coming weeks. But the real recognition of course comes from the Super Horror Bros seal of approval. We are chatting Parasite and whether this Korean hit is worth your time whether you’re after a horror film or just a damn good time. Elsewhere this week, Mindhunter gets put on hiatus. Watchmen seemingly walks away at the top. Don’t Breathe 2 gets a director. And we have some great ideas for the title of the next Saw film which at the time of recording still doesn’t have an actual title.

Continuing the trend of films we’ve wanted to see for a while but couldn’t due to the fun world of UK delayed releases we are back to discuss Villains. Starring two of the genre’s best newcomers of recent years; we were very excited to see them both in this interesting looking indie comedy/horror hybrid. Check out our verdict on whether you should seek out this film which hasn't had the widest release so far. Elsewhere this week, the news brings us plenty of new TV updates including new details on the upcoming ‘Chucky’ series and the announcement of another show set in the Hannibal Lector universe. And sadly it isn’t the revival of Hannibal. Ending the show we give our thoughts on what we watched over the break including Netflix’s The Witcher and the new Arrow Video restoration of Robocop.

Before we sit down to discuss the best films of the year next week we are back with our last regular show of 2019. Returning to the cinema one last time is the remake of the remake of Black Christmas. We’re always down for some fun seasonal horror so let’s see if this film delivered on its easily executable premise that’s already been done twice to a good degree.
