After the fun summer delights last week of Midsommar; we are back to discuss something slightly more familiar for the show. The seventh entry in the ongoing The Conjuring saga is here and that means we have to talk about spooky dolls and things that go bump in the night for what feels like the millionth time. But who knows; with the Warrens making an appearance maybe the third Annabelle film can surprise us and bring more to the table than the previous entries have done. The cinema horror grind continues as this week we get to see a film that came out overseas last month and has finally got a UK theatrical release. After an exciting trailer and cool premise; we were very excited to check out Brightburn. Obviously being huge horror fans but also big superhero film fans we hoped this would be right up our alley. We give our verdict on the film and whether it succeeds or is another Sony Pictures disappointment. Elsewhere this week; Arrow Video announces an upcoming release that actually makes our dreams come true. Seriously guys; we love you. Pinhead may be getting his own show alongside a big return to cinemas but we’re still fairly sceptical about both. And ending the show this week; Mike continues his odyssey through the Phantasm franchise for the first time and Matt still isn’t sure if it’s real or not.

I hope you are ready for things to get weird because things are about to get weird. This week we return to discuss the latest Netflix horror release hoping to leave a lasting impression and hopefully leave us feeling more fulfilled than some recent horror films from the popular streaming service. With an apparently spoiler filled trailer we went in completely dark on this one and we highly recommend you do the same. We do talk spoilers after a full warning if you have already seen this film but otherwise just go watch it before you know anything about it at all. We never thought this show would arrive. This week we are discussing a film which we are still not sure will ever get a proper release but after some weird European bluray releases popping up; here we are. Polaroid has long been delayed for over two years now and has been on our radar for a while with it’s fun premise and interesting story. Whilst Lars Klevberg will become widely known to audiences next month with his remake of Child’s Play; we are here to discuss his first film and see what got him the big job in the first place. Will this film live up to years of anticipation as the forbidden fruit of horror films? We shall find out. Elsewhere this week, there’s big news to discuss as Saw is officially coming back in 2020 with an interesting name attached to the project that’s been the talk of the horror community. Finally we talk about the series finale of Game of Thrones and just how hard it can be to end things the right way.

A super famous actor playing the role of one of the most notorious serial killers of all time. This one will be very interesting indeed. We are back to discuss the very long titled film that will forever be known as the Zac Bundy film from now on. We go over everything from the problems with potentially glorifying real life killers to great acting performances in forgettable films. Elsewhere this week; The Collector and Hell House LLC get third installments which pleases us greatly. Hellraiser could be making a long overdue glorious return but we’re not getting our hopes up just yet. The New Mutants is sadly never gonna get a release. Rounding out the show this week we have some brief thoughts on the new bluray release of Cujo in the UK and Mike has been playing a game non stop the last few weeks that he just has to tell someone about.
