Recently I have been watching a popular new TV drama ‘ode to Joy'.
It is a television adaptation of a novel by the same name.

The TV drama takes the five girls who happened to live on the same floor (the 22th floor) as the main line.

Andy-a successful, 31-year-old business woman who returned home after studying in the New York. She is beautiful but has a cold temperament. She is independent and very meticulous, which impresses those around her. She also does not socialize with others as much as she would like. She returned to China hopes of finding her younger brother, but along the way, she finds herself with multiple suitors.

Fan Shengmei-a sophisticated, 30-year-old woman who was born into poverty. She is known as the “Princess of the Streets”, and she had worked as an HR specialist for many years in an international company. She dreams of living a glitzy lifestyle. And she yearns to marry a rich man. She can be a little vain, but she’s kind-hearted to her neighbors.

Qu Xiaoxiao, a 25-year-old woman who was born with a silver spoon in her mouth. Nowadays, she owns a small business. She’s an honest person with a sharp tongue.

Qiu Yingying, a 20-year-old girl who hails from a small town. Now in the big city, she fell in love with a man who happens to be a financial executive in her company. Once her office romance came to light, Qiu faced tension in the workplace and lost her job.

Guan Juer, a 20-year-old girl from an academic family. She's a quiet, introverted person who lives life as planned by her parents. Entering the workplace and meeting new people makes her question her identity and what kind of life she wants for herself.

Except the five women, there are also some handsome men who are trying to get the attention of these girls.

The drama is a reflection of us who left home to live and work in big cities. Most of us can find the shadow of us from the five roles. So it has been a hit drama recently. I was attracted by it and even stayed up till midnight at about 2:00am.

Last night I finished watching the last episode of this drama which I had been following for about 1 week, but the story of the five girls not over yet, the writer left us a lot of imagination space for the second season.
Yes, I begin waiting for the second season.

This week we got a three-day weekend because of the Labor Day. Holiday is always so fast, today is already the last day of the holiday. Two days sunny and one day rainy, and I had one day to go out and two days at home.

On the first day, I went to the animation museum with the two daughters of the landlord. Because the oldest daughter planned to play with her classmates, I needed to look after the youngest one.

The ticket price for adults were 50 yuan and 25 yuan for children. As it was a very hot day, after we bought the ticket, the only thing we wanted to do was reach the exhibition hall as soon as possible. When we got there, I thought only one word could describe the scenario at that time: people mountain people sea. We were not only shocked by the crowd but also the world of cartoon.
The memories came to my mind at that moment when I saw these cartoons like Big head Son and small head dad, Journey to the west and so on. After visiting the hall A we went to the hall B, there was no difference between the two halls, all had a huge crowd of people.

At about 1:30pm, we were so hungry, so we left the museum and went to the food area. The meals and snacks were so expensive on that day. For example, the corn which only costed 3 yuan in usual needed 15 yuan, Wow! After enjoying these delicious food, we were going to home, but it was not easy, we still needed to queue up for the bus for a long time since there were already so many people waiting there.

It was my first day of the holiday and my conclusion was that I had better stay at home on these kind of holidays later. On the left of the two days, I just stayed at home, watching variety shows, chatting with my landlord and her daughters, learning English and so on.

I went to the China Merchant Bank with Della this noon. Because we applied for the bank card few months ago, and the bank teller told us: if the money in the card was more than 1000RMB, there would have no service charge when we drew money from other banks. But months later, when we checked the bills, it is different with what she said. The bills showed that from this year, they collects fees, and even worse, they did not give us a reminder at all.

I was so angry about that so I called 95555 for the explanation of the issue. The hall manager apologized to me and advised me to the bank again, then she would help me to handle the issue.

So today we were there. The she helped us to change the card to another one and then sent each of us an umbrella.

After I arrived at the work office this morning, I checked the messages in WeChat as usual, I was so surprised to find that my dad sent me a big red envelope in the early morning at 6:57am. Then it suddenly occurred to me that it was my birthday today. When I still immersed in the happiness, at 9:28am, my mother gave me another big surprise—another big red envelope. Thanks to my excellent Dad and Mum!

And then near the lunch there came the red envelopes from my sister and my sister-in-law. From all of these, I especially want to thank my sister-in-law. Even though we just met each other twice, she has always been so nice to me. She sent me some delicious snacks, gave me good advice when I quarreled with my boyfriend, and today she gave me a big red envelope. Yes, she is a wonderful sister and I believe we will get along well with each other in our future lives. Thanks to my best sister and sister-in-law!

I almost forgot my boyfriend. He bought me a beautiful and cute suitcase days ago, but the product is temporarily out of stock now. I need to wait for the updates about it, so there is no possible for me to get the present before the end of today. Anyway, Thanks to my perfect boyfriend!

Along with the wishes from my family members, I also received a lot of that from my friends, classmates, colleagues and so on from the morning till the night and even now. I am really appreciate for your kindness. Thanks to all of you!

Today I was planned to go to the ICBC, but due to the rain, I chose to stay at home all the day.

After the lunch, the youngest daughter went to the writing contest with her mother’s company，so I needed to stay in my room alone. Because the weather was so cold, I went to bed to keep warm. Every time before, I always would sleep once I watch TV on bed, and this time was not an exception. Yes, a good afternoon passed in sleep.
