SuperCoach Champions

We're up to Round 8 already and the Round 12 bye is close but not that close too! Catfish and Bear are here to help answer more Round 12/bye preparation questions including how we each prioritise trade-in targets over the coming weeks.

We also unveil two new segments which sees us dig a bit deeper into player discussion for a few select players. And we finish as always with another round of "Champ or Chump?" and this week's player in question is Viliame Kikau from the Penrith Panthers!

Thank you as always for your kind reviews and ratings, we really do appreciate them all! And we did mention a little plug for our Patreon - https://www.patreon.com/NRLSC_Champions - please have a browse and see if you want to get involved!

Anzac Day is almost upon us and we have another cracking round of games awaiting us, and more SuperCoach points to be scoreD! Firstly, make sure you don't get caught out by the earlier-than-usual lockout tomorrow afternoon! 4pm, not the usual 8pm kickoff!

We discuss Round 12/bye preparation including our thoughts on how many players we need, how we look at forming our teams for that round and working out what players will serve our team best in the weeks leading up to Round 12, in Round 12 itself and afterwards.

We work through more of your Twitter questions and give our $0.02 there and of course, we also play "Champ or Chump" and this week's player is Mitch Moses from the Parramatta Eels!

Round 6 is here and it's also the Easter long weekend! Firstly it's not a standard round so make sure you double-check when all the games are (including the Easter Monday game). We talk about the thought process behind evaluating whether you chase the cash (Xerri and CHT) vs chasing the points (jumping on a fallen gun, etc.) given the repeated questions we received on this topic!

We also trawl through a HUGE number of your Twitter questions and give our $0.02 there. Of course, we also play "Champ vs Chump" and this week's player is James Fisher-Harris from the Penrith Panthers.

We're here to look at Round 5 and we're here to help sort through all the drama and difficult decisions. We dissect one of Bear's mistakes on the weekend (didn't stop him having a big round though!) and how that can be avoided with some simple preparation. We also both talk through how we look at evaluating players to trade in, using the example of Crichton vs CHN, as well as how we plan out our trades generally and how much the byes might factor in.

We also trawl through a number of your Twitter questions and give our $0.02 there. Of course, we also play "Champ vs Chump" and this week's player is King Gutho!

It's Round 4 and the Champions are here to help keep everyone calm despite all the injuries, players being dropped and all the other drama this week. With such a crazy 'TLT' this week, we've enlisted the services of Dave "VK" Von Kotze, the 2014 overall winner, to give us a hand. The three of us spend time chatting about the importance of Rounds 3-5 for setting up a successful overall season, looking at some of the moves we made during these few rounds and what we prioritised based on how we had started the season.

We also chat about the pros and cons of the Vice Captain loophole, how much we think you should tear apart your team for Tom Trbojevic this week or next, discuss our thoughts and potential plans for our own trades and we play "Champ or Chump?" with VK's assistance for one of the most frustrating SuperCoach players of the past few years - Bryce Cartwright a.k.a. the Carty Party!

We are back to help you prepare for Round 3 this week. Guy and Wilfred talk the strategy behind how each of us are approaching this week's critical last two trades before price rises kick in for the rest of the season, depending on how we've gone with setting up our teams in Round 1. We share our trades this week and who we're prioritising, as well as taking on board a LOT of your Twitter and Facebook questions featuring discussion on players like Burns, Surgess, Bateman, Capewell, Farah, Hodgson, Cook, SJ, Teddy, and plenty of others too!
