The suspect who was critically injured in an officer-involved shooting in Natchez passed away on Thursday afternoon. Officers were trying to serve an attempted murder warrant for 19-year-old Phillip Stokes on May 11 when he opened fire on police. They returned fire, and he was critically wounded. None of the officers involved was hurt. Plus, the Hinds County Board of Supervisors will be holding a series of what they're calling "emergency broadband community meetings." The first of four meetings will take place on Monday at 6 p.m. at Belmont Missionary Baptist Church in Raymond.
