  • Second murder in three weeks reported at Canton apartment complex
    For the second time in three weeks, there's been a fatal shooting at an apartment complex in Canton. Monday night's violence at Canton Estates Apartments led to the death of 32-year-old Quincy Pate. Megeil Walsh was gunned down in the apartment complex on April 22, and now residents are questioning whether the two shootings are connected. Canton Mayor William Truly held a press conference on Tuesday. He told residents he's planning to ask the board to invest $1 million into safety and security. He believes every apartment complex in every high-crime area in the city should have a surveillance system to help identify those who pull the trigger.
