Monday, Senator Cindy Hyde-Smith paid tribute to several Mississippi officers who lost their lives in the line of duty as part of National Police Week. The Republican congresswoman paid tribute to George County Sheriff’s Deputy Jeremy Malone, Summit Police Department Patrolman Troy Floyd, Mississippi Department of Public Safety liaison Michael Griffin, and George County Sheriff’s Office narcotics agent Robert Daffin, Jr. All four fallen officers names have been added to the National Law Enforcement Memorial in Washington, D.C.
