Two Mississippians have received presidential appointments for key agriculture roles. Chris McDonald was appointed to serve as state executive director for the Farm Service Agency, which is tasked with planning, organizing, and administering FSA programs throughout Mississippi. Dane Maxwell was appointed to serve as state director for Rural Development, which is focused on finding ways to empower Mississippi’s rural areas and aid in economic growth. Plus, Monday will be sunny with highs in the 70s and 80s.
