From an early career in Sailing and instructing in the U.K., to moving to Antibes, she recognized the need for much a greater development in the training and qualifications for crew. While also running her company “Ask Joey”, a much needed resource of help and support for yacht crew, over the next number of years, with great determination, she created the G.U.E.S.T program, along with  experienced colleagues, providing yacht crew with clear standardized instruction and training, and particularly for the interior crew, the recognition and respect for their position, and the further training for leadership that was necessary for their position. With care and compassion, she has supported and trained a whole generation of yacht crew, and continues to do so among her many endeavour's! Joey is nominated for the Crew Award of Lifetime Achievement!
