What's your ripple?
We all have one. But there are times, right, when we forget that?
Don't.
You MATTER. Your voice MATTERS. The business you're creating MATTERS. The work you're doing MATTERS. The love you show your children, your family and your friends MATTERS.
And you and your work cause a ripple. That infectious something that supports one person, then the next, then the next -- all stemming from what you've put out into the world. You may never know this, and you may have moments when you think what you're doing isn't moving anyone anywhere.
That's why I recorded this episode -- which was originally episode 50 of the Support is Sexy podcast. My intention is to remind you to recognize, respect and remember your ripple.

The co-founders say they view The Lola, a beautiful women-only club and workspace in Atlanta, as a community where women can truly connect personally and professionally and feel a sense of belonging. These women range in age from 23 – 77, and are from all different backgrounds and ways of being.
On this episode of the Support is Sexy podcast, Martine and Eileen share how they maintain a strong business partnership, the importance of building your community, how to stick with your dream even when there may be "crickets" at the start and how to get creative when inevitable challenges arise.

A new decade is upon us. Can you believe it? It's. Around. The. Corner.
I had plenty of lessons in 2019 -- some easy, some not so easy, but all helped me grow as an entrepreneur and as a person. I have so much to learn, and you know what? I'm looking forward to it!
That's why I believe in starting a new year, or any new chapter, with intention and vision. In this episode, we get into it, and into what I believe is to come for Support is Sexy in 2020. Plus: JOY. That's what it's all about.
And THANK YOU so much for the love and support in 2019 and for years past with the podcast. It is the blessing I didn't even know I needed. As I always say, this all just would not be the same without you.

In 2015, Misty Copeland became the first Black woman to be promoted to Principal Dancer at the American Ballet Theatre in the company's 75-year history. She grew up in San Pedro, CA, and has been dancing since she was 13. Now 37, married, and icon and in a different place in her life (and within her body), Misty is charting her next move with intention.
But dance isn't the only passion that Misty is shaping to fit where she is nowadays. She is also thinking more about her business and how she wants to have an impact as an entrepreneur. Not one to just put her name on a product and let it go, she is serious about making products that matter, such as a dance wear line that reflects women of all colors. She also recently launched her production company, Life in Motion Productions, launched her first online course with MasterClass, and she's an advocate for ballet dancers to receive as much respect, pay, endorsements and insurance as other athletes. (Because they are, after all, athletes.)
On this episode of the Support is Sexy podcast, Misty shares the challenges that come with being a "first" (and how she's paving the way so that she's not the last), the ways she is protecting her personal brand and what the path ahead looks like for her as an entrepreneur.

While out for a run the other day, I felt flat on my face. Well, nearly. My body is still aching as I write this (eek!)
In this episode of the Support is Sexy podcast, I share the lessons that I learned from that fall and how you can recover and bounce back from the embarrassment of falling flat on you face.

Celebrating 700 episodes of the Support is Sexy podcast today, and though the lessons are many -- there are 7 lessons that came to me during my recent run through Prospect Park in Brooklyn, New York that I must share!
This journey of interviewing women entrepreneurs around the world for my podcast has been a dream I didn't even know I had. And the experience of growing a community, such as the Support is Sexy Mastermind, and all else that has come from this mission and movement, has been truly magical. Thank you for being along this ride with me! Cheers to the next 700!
Elayne
