In a long anticipated decision, the Supreme Court of the United States rules 5-4 to strike down a Louisiana law that required the unimaginable: that abortionists must have admitting privileges at a local hospital just like EVERY OTHER ambulatory surgical center in the state! If abortion was truly about “healthcare,” this law would have never been challenged by abortion activists. The court’s ruling in June Medical v. Russo says the quiet part out loud.
