Some times are very sweet, especially the times spent in the village.Hey friends, today I came here after a long time, through a blog of the village.Since childhood or the 1980s, we have grown up seeing many rare scenes of villages. Those scenes still exist in villages, just like in the past.In the past, we saw village mothers and sisters collecting vegetables from agricultural fields to eat. They collected green vegetables in a festive atmosphere.
In the past, we used to see various types of vegetables and crops in the agricultural lands of the villages, but now many types of crops have decreased. In the past, we used to see a lot of potato cultivation, wheat cultivation, lentil cultivation, sugarcane cultivation, etc. in the agricultural lands, but now the cultivation of those crops has decreased. Many of our histories and memorable moments are intertwined around those crops.
We would go to different crop fields to collect different things. For example, we would go to sugarcane fields to collect dry leaves. At that time, there would be a bumper crop of sweet potatoes and after the rains, we would collect potatoes from under the ground when the farmers would collect the potatoes and go away.
Even after the farmers took the potatoes home, we would collect the potatoes that remained underground in a festive atmosphere. No one had any jealousy or complaints in their minds.
When lentils were cultivated in the winter, we would burn the lentils and eat them by lighting a fire in the field.Apart from that, we used to collect one type of green leafy vegetable from the vegetable fields, all the women of the village working together.
We did it in a festive atmosphere and that scene can still be seen in the village. The mothers and sisters of rural Bengal still rejoice in the green agricultural lands of the villages.Gathering vegetables or greens together is a source of joy.It is very comforting on a sunny winter day.Fresh vegetables and spinach are available there which are very beneficial for the body.
So recently I witnessed that pleasant scene of rural Bengal again.Recently I, along with the women of the village, collected green vegetables from the fields with joy and celebration. The video shared today bears that witness.I have shared this rare image of the village here and I am very happy to be a part of it.The village mothers and sisters have collected green vegetables from the green land, which undoubtedly gives it a heavenly feel and follows the traditions of rural bengal.
