Dr. Tony Cicoria, an orthopedic surgeon, was struck by lightning in 1994. He died and experienced his body dissolving into air and those around him being unable to see him. He was then taken to a river where he experienced immense peace and had a life review.
When he came back from his near-death experience, Dr. Cicoria was suddenly overtaken by the need to listen to classical music. Despite not being a musician, he had "downloads" of music to his brain. This led to a spiritual and musical mission.
