Ro: Într-un colt uitat al lumii, unde soarele se străduia să pătrundă prin perdeaua de nori groși, trei prieteni se adunaseră pentru a învăța arta supraviețuirii.
En: In a forgotten corner of the world, where the sun struggled to pierce through the thick curtain of clouds, three friends had gathered to learn the art of survival.

Ro: Pe Elena, mereu optimistă, puține lucruri o speriau.
En: Elena, always optimistic, was frightened by few things.

Ro: Andrei, un tânăr cu privire ageră, mereu pândea pericolul.
En: Andrei, a young man with a keen eye, was always on the lookout for danger.

Ro: „Dar e teritoriul unei bande,” avertiză acesta.
En: "But it's a gang territory," he warned.

Ro: Elena privi hotărâtă.
En: Elena looked determined.

Ro: „Trebuie să încercăm.
En: "We have to try.

Ro: E singura noastră șansă.
En: It's our only chance."

Ro: ”A doua zi, luându-și inima în dinți, deciseră să meargă.
En: The next day, mustering their courage, they decided to go.

Ro: Pășiră cu grijă printre ruinele fabricii, umbrele lungi întinzându-se ca niște gheare.
En: They walked cautiously through the ruins of the factory, long shadows stretching out like claws.

Ro: Andrei simțea greutatea deciziei sale, însă nu voia să piardă oportunitatea.
En: Andrei felt the weight of his decision but didn't want to miss the opportunity.

Ro: Deodată, pași grei și strigăte îi înconjurară.
En: Suddenly, heavy footsteps and shouts surrounded them.

Ro: Răpăi rivalilor răsunară ca tunetul.

Ro: Andrei zări ochii aprigi ai conducătorului bandei și, în loc să-și ridice armele, își înălță mâinile.

En: "We don't come to fight," he shouted.

Ro: Rinichiile bandei se opriră, surprinse.
En: The gang members halted, surprised.

Ro: „Avem nevoie de hrană.
En: "We need food.

Ro: Putem să facem o înțelegere.
En: We can make a deal."

Ro: ”După momente ce păreau ore, liderul bandei dădu din cap.
En: After moments that seemed hours, the gang leader nodded.

Ro: O înțelegere fu făcută – provizii pentru informații și pașnică coexistență.
En: A deal was made—supplies for information and peaceful coexistence.

Ro: Cu gemete de ușurare, prietenii luară proviziile și se retraseră.
En: With sighs of relief, the friends took the supplies and retreated.

Ro: Înapoi în tuneluri, Andrei își simțea sufletul ușurat.
