Jared approached me a few weeks ago and asked if I'd be interested in talking about QAnon and that he and Becky had been researching it quite a bit recently. I've done some research on it too, and while I do think there are some valid points, I have a very hard time believing that Donald Trump is some sort of "savior." However, I will always welcome a friend back to the show, and I have no problem with a healthy debate and discussion. So that's what this episode is! I hope you enjoy as much as I did.

Shannon wrote a very well worded paper on some of the struggles he's had to go through while obtaining his education inside Wisconsin prisons. The roadblocks were numerous, and the system didn't make it easy on him. But he did it!I take more of a backseat on this interview because after someone does 17 years, they need their space to talk.   • Ep.48 How To Ruin A Man
    Want to know how to immediately ruin a man and his reputation, no questions asked, and no evidence needed? On September 15th, former guest and friend to the show David Mitchell was arrested for sexual assault of a minor. This came in the wake of a huge Grand Jury finding about the James Scurlock killing here in Omaha, that Mr. Mitchell was instrumental in bringing to pass. Within hours of the Grand Jury releasing their findings, David Mitchell was arrested and booked into jail. Of course, I looked into it, and the story just seems to have holes. The media is leaving out large pieces of vital information, and from what I can see, it seems like retaliation. This is what I see, from my perspective, right or wrong.

    In the immortal words of Ferris Bueller "Life happens pretty fast. If you don't stop and take a look around once in awhile, you could miss it." Well, life has been coming at me 100mph lately, and I've been working double time to keep up. Seems like every time I turn around, there's something coming up that is getting in the way of things I want to do, and need to do. It would be easy to give up and say "this is too difficult, I can't do all of this." But that would be a lie. I can do all of this. And so can you. Just don't let these challenges derail you.

What struck me the most was his message was similar to what I talk about, he just comes at it from a different angle.     I needed help. My family and I have been doing a good job of persevering in the face of this global pandemic, but we were still behind. I was at a crossroads where I could either continue pushing forward and hoping something would happen...or I could ask for help that had been offered to me. It was a good reminder of a lesson I've learned before. Surround yourself with a community that will push you and challenges you, one that helps you to grow! A lesson we all need to remember.
