Welcome to the Susan Sheehan Success Series — where you’re inspired, informed, and invited to think beyond the ordinary.
Today we’re diving into our wellness chapter, and this is a conversation I know many of you will find fascinating. I’m joined by Lady O, and we’re exploring a topic that connects intimacy, energy, confidence, and even performance in everyday life.
Lady O, it’s wonderful to have you here. For those meeting you for the first time, can you give us a snapshot of what you do?
Lady O is a coach who works with men, women, and couples, helping them understand and harness sexual energy — particularly the experience and potential of deeper pleasure and connection. Her work focuses on how intimacy, creativity, love, and personal power are often more connected than we realise.
It’s a powerful and often misunderstood area, so wherever you’re listening from, I invite you to approach this conversation with curiosity. Grab a cup of tea or coffee, settle in, and simply listen with an open mind.
Now, this may not be something you personally struggle with, but if you’re over 40, chances are you know someone who does. Changes in confidence, desire, connection, or even comfort are incredibly common — yet rarely discussed openly.
Lady O, from your experience, are these challenges more common than people think?
One of the most interesting things about this space is that even people who feel their intimate life is “fine” often discover there’s another level available to them — greater connection, confidence, clarity, and even a renewed sense of vitality.
So let’s start at the beginning.
For those listening who may be experiencing changes — whether physical, emotional, or relational — where does someone begin? Because when we talk about expanded pleasure or deeper connection, that can feel like a big leap for many people.
This is where mindset, self-awareness, and honest communication start to play a critical role. Often, it’s not simply about the body — it’s about beliefs, conditioning, past experiences, stress, identity, and how safe someone feels expressing their needs.
Rather than asking, “What’s wrong with me?” a far more empowering question becomes:
“What can I explore, understand, or shift?”
Because so many of the barriers people experience — confidence, desire, connection — are influenced by psychology, stress, life pressures, and long-held patterns.
And as we know, whether we’re talking business, wellbeing, or relationships, awareness is always the first step.
So today, we’re unpacking the realities, the misconceptions, and the possibilities.
If something in this conversation resonates with you, let it simply be information — not pressure, not judgment — just insight.
Because growth, in any area of life, begins with curiosity.
