  • 55 - Borrow Somebody’s Login
Natalia Grace Barnett (born September 4, 2003) is a Ukrainian-born American with dwarfism, who, in 2010, was adopted by an American family but abandoned by them two years later. Barnett's adoptive parents claimed that Barnett was a legal adult, and, in 2012, they successfully sought a court order legally changing her birth year from 2003 to 1989. However, an August 2023 DNA test by TruDiagnostic confirmed that Grace was about 20 years old, meaning she was around 9 years old when her adoptive parents abandoned her. You guys this is a wiiiiild one. I probably changed opinions 5 times throughout this entire docuseries, The Curious Case of Natalia Grace, on Max. What’s the story here? Who is telling the truth? Who is lying? https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Natalia_Grace https://people.com/natalia-grace-accused-trying-kill-adoptive-parents-speaks-in-new-docuseries-8414516 https://people.com/natalia-grace-accused-trying-kill-adoptive-parents-speaks-in-new-docuseries-8414516

  • 51 - The NFL Has Inconvenienced Me
Starting off the episode with an embarrassing story time; yes, it’s been weeks and I’m still not over it. Also, do you guys think I should send the NFL an invoice for ruining my birthday weekend? Let me know. This week we’re discussing John Battaglia, a convicted murderer executed by the state of Texas for filicide in 2018. Just an awful story, devastating. This prompted Texas Senate Bill 1408 (SB 140), passed by the Seventy-Seventh Texas Legislature. The bill had two main purposes: (1) to give direction to judges "regarding the appointment of sole custody in family violence cases," and (2) to change the way Texas courts handle visitation when a parent has a history of domestic violence. Here we go.. have your tissues ready for this one. | https://www.thehotline.org/?utm_source=google&utm_medium=organic&utm_campaign=domestic_violence | https://www.justice.gov/ovw/domestic-violence | https://www.justice.gov/ovw/domestic-violence | https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5282617/ | https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Battaglia | https://www.texastribune.org/2018/02/01/dallas-man-who-killed-his-daughters-set-again-execution/

This week chatting funny Christmas gifts, petty notes my neighbors leave each other, and a full on Karen in my building. Covering Robert Berdella, an American serial killer who kidnapped, raped, tortured, and murdered at least six young men after having forced his victims to endure periods of up to six weeks of captivity. • 46 - Fumbled The Bag
Back to the 70’s this week with a horrrrrible story: Nathaniel Benjamin Levi Bar-Jonah was an American convicted child predator and suspected cannibalistic serial killer - sentenced to 130 years in prison without the possibility of parole. An unbelievable, gut wrenching case… I can only imagine the people who worked on the case never imagined they’d see something like this.
