I’m baaaaack. We’re jumping right back into things this week, without missing a beat. In 1988, Walter McMillian, was wrongfully convicted of murder and sentenced to death in Monroeville, Alabama. His trial lasted less than two days, and although the jury recommended life imprisonment - the judge overruled and sentenced him to death. From beginning to end of this “investigation”, there is NO evidence connecting Walter McMillian to the murder - the police simply wanted to write the narrative for a successful black man. Join me as I dissect this case and yell into the microphone about how shitty our justice system is. Have you seen the movie, “Just Mercy”? Yes? You don’t want to miss this episode. | Suspect Facebook Group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/706503343497109/?ref=share | Suspect IG: https://instagram.com/suspectpodcast?utm_medium=copy_link
