Covering Katie’s law this week, inspired by Katie Sepich, a case from 2003 that shook New Mexico. A case of tragedy, but also an example of using a tragic experience to better our system. We’re talking the Elisa Lam case this week, after Netflix’s “Crime Scene: The Vanishing at the Cecil Hotel” was released. Guilty of binging the entire thing in one night. Intense. Take a trip back to 2013 with me and dive into the case that turned regular people into self proclaimed FBI agents, as everybody wanted to figure out one thing: “what the hell happened?” IG: @suspectpodcast @katie_kenneddy | Suspect Facebook Group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/706503343497109/?ref=share | Suspect IG: https://instagram.com/suspectpodcast?utm_medium=copy_link

Katie takes on this week’s recording SOLO! Different, but different can be good. Covering William Bonin, also known as the Freeway Killer, we dive into all the details of how this sicko terrorized California in the late 70’s, early 80’s. We also briefly chat on some of the events that’ve occurred since the beginning of 2021. ——-> *Trigger warning*: Rape/pedophilia topics. | Suspect Facebook Group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/706503343497109/?ref=share | Suspect IG: https://instagram.com/suspectpodcast?utm_medium=copy_link

Warning : The amount of plot twists in this week's episode is too much to unpack. Literally.

A big shout out to my girl Delainey for responding to that "uh hey, you want to be on my podcast?", text. Much love.

Merry Christmas to everybody! We hope you're all staying safe and trying to end 2020 on a high note.

This week Katie covers the insaaaane murder case of Cari Farver (2012), a story you would literally have to convince others actually happened. Delainey, filling in - but making sure to completely baffle Katie, covers the story of the Lululemon murder from 2011, a story unlike any other.. full of twists and turns. | Suspect Facebook Group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/706503343497109/?ref=share | Suspect IG: https://instagram.com/suspectpodcast?utm_medium=copy_link

Happy November! We’ve almost made it out of this year! Thank you again to Gaby for joining us to fill in with a story. This week Katie covers the Lindbergh Kidnapping from 1932 - the case that turned kidnapping & transporting over state lines from a state crime, to a federal crime. Gaby tells the story from an “I, Survived” survivor Krystal Surles. At just 10 years old Krystal had to fight for her life, and it’s a story of unbelievable strength and courage. | Suspect Facebook Group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/706503343497109/?ref=share | Suspect IG: https://instagram.com/suspectpodcast?utm_medium=copy_link

Join me in welcoming my guest cohost this week, everybody say “heyyyy Brandon!” Trying to spook things up this week with both cases - Brandon covers BTK, and trust me, he doesn’t leave out any details. Katie covers Candy Man. Have you ever wondered where the “poisoned Halloween candy” myth came from? Well in this case, it’s not a myth, it definitely happened in Halloween of 1974. It’s the spoO0oOokiest month of the year - but we forgot, until we were recording this episode. We never promised to be organized. Katie covers the 1976 Chowchilla Bus Kidnapping: 26 kids vanish on the way home from a summer trip. Hannah covers Aileen Wuornos - guilty of murdering 7 men from 1989-1990, but only convicted for 6. Buckle up. Let’s talk about murder, how we interacted with boys at 16, and most importantly.... how much Katie misses Whataburger. | Suspect Facebook Group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/706503343497109/?ref=share | Suspect IG: https://instagram.com/suspectpodcast?utm_medium=copy_link

7 deep, episode 7, halfway to 14 - if you’re still tuning in at this point, we love you. Hannah’s back with us this week for two, pretty horrendous, cases, Katie talks Laurie Dann and Hannah dives into Bobby Joe Long. Details of both cases are disturbing, here’s your trigger warning ahead of time. Come join us for another conversation, as two, blonde, non psychiatrists, pick apart the details/timelines of these awful stories.... and our own lives as well. Happy ALMOST October! Hannah wasn’t able to join us this week, so Katie has her longtime friend Gaby join for this week’s discussion. We’re talking everything conspiracy this week. Maybe two of the most controversial conspiracy theories, with some pretty interesting facts to make you wonder.... how did it really go down? Let’s talk MLK and MKultra. Buckle up, I promise it’s intense. | Suspect Facebook Group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/706503343497109/?ref=share | Suspect IG: https://instagram.com/suspectpodcast?utm_medium=copy_link
