HI FRIENDS. This week Katie and Hannah talk legal system failures. As you can tell by the title of this episode, there may or may not be a wee bit of corruption involved. Tap in, let's see. Katie shares the case of James Joseph Richardson - wrongfully convicted of the 1967 murders of his 7 children. Hannah shares David Camm's case - who was also wrongfully convicted but TWICE for the murders of his wife and two children in 2000.
New segment alert: We speak early in the episode about starting a new segment where we connect with individuals who have had personal experiences to a crime, case, or any kind of story that would fit our true crime niche. A few days after recording the initial episode Katie was able to connect with Kristin, who was a victim of sexual assault 11 years ago. Kristen shares her experience and how she was able to process the awful situation she had been through, then how she able to grow and find peace through the brokenness. Katie may have cried silently on mute during the conversation...but wow strong women are amazing, am I right?!
