How do you view God? Everything we need to know about God is found in the Bible. Christ overflows with compassion, though we are not worthy and reject Him, he cares for us. What will you do with the compassion of Christ?

Throughout his life, David was diligent in seeking the Lord. From his youngest years to his death, he was found seeking the Lord in prayer and in praise. Humility and obedience were key characteristics in his seeking of the Lord.

As believers, God has set before us a race to run. We will encounter perils, temptations, and obstacles, but we must continue to faithfully run the race. As we do so, our eyes must be fixed on Jesus Christ who gave us the example for both running and finishing the race.

One major part of prayer is the necessity of abiding in Christ. Power in prayer is not the only fruit of abiding in Christ, the True Vine, but it is a vital product of such abiding.

One of the reasons there is so much restlessness in the world today is because there is unrest in the soul. True rest can only be found in Jesus Christ. Until one repents and turns to Christ, they will never have rest in their soul.

Restlessness of soul will not be corrected by anything other than returning to Jesus Christ. god is always ready to receive mankind both to salvation and to restoration. He will always bring peace and rest to your soul.

The life of Nehemiah is really a testimony of what God had done in his life that he could not do. It is truly a testament to prayer.

As we think of Christ's birth, a common question arises. Why did Jesus come? His sacrifice was necessary because of man's sinfulness. But it was also the great love of God that caused Him to sacrifice His Son for sinners.

The love of God treasures the things the world calls un-treasurable. And He loves us though we do not deserve it. But as believers, we have an obligation to love others. God's love calls for a love from us!

Nehemiah was a man of prayer. From his service to the king in Persia to his service to God in Jerusalem, he remained faithful to God. His faithfulness in prayer is a marked characteristic in his life.
