In today’s episode we chat to Tom Butler CEO of the ICMM (International council on Mining & Metals) who were formed to improve sustainable development performance in the mining and metals industry. The ICMM brings together 27 mining and metals companies and over 30 national and regional mining associations and global commodity associations, and now serves as an agent for change and continual improvement on issues relating to mining and sustainable development

We talk about the success that ICMM is having and the impact its having on the mining industry. They have also recently launched a tailings dam and responsible investment initiatives so it was good to know and understand more about them.
