In this episode Elizabeth Laguerre, Academic Dean/Assistant Principal, is back to give us some updates about her journey after divorce.  She is walking with purpose, and acknowledges the pain that comes with that purpose.  As the conversation unfolds it is clear to us that it is through our brokenness, and walking in the crooked places,  that God is giving us an opportunity to rebuild.  He is restoring and laying the groundwork; the foundation, for the rest of our lives! In this episode, I talk about the challenges of managing a separation over the past year and few months, including the financial ups and downs. i talk about the emotional toll that separation and divorce is having on me and my children.  Though many bad things happen in life, divorce being one of them, God hates it, because he wants to protect us from unnecessary pain.  He granted a writing of divorce because of the hardness of our hearts, but even God can control the heart and knows how to turn it, just as he did Pharoah and others in the bible.  He knows how to give us the desires of our hearts, especially in order to free us from bondage. and many of us cannot avoid the truth of what our heart is telling us.  He is in touch with our humanity and wants us to experience peace and joy.  He is a father that wants to protect His children, but He allows us to walk the journey for his ultimate glory and purpose.  Enjoy this episode of reflection.

In this episode I sat with Jen M. Watson, who wears many hats.  She is Pastor, Editor, Author, Speaker, & Entrepeneur.  We discussed the importance of stepping in position where God wants us to fulfill His purpose in the Kingdom.  We talked about the value of partnering with professionals to help with the mental health needs in the Body of Christ.  Pastor Jen encourages you that no matter the position,  you must embrace the call to purpose even when it feels uncomfortable. Regardless of the title you have, ensure that your work speaks for itself and that God is glorified!

I dedicate this episode in loving memory of my sister, Sheree Williams.  Gone but not forgotten.  

In this episode I reflect on season 2.  You will enjoy the slideshow and voice recording highlighing Sabrina Bethel's wedding.  She was on the first episode of season 2 - "She Became Unstuck."  Other interviewees of the season are also highligted in this episode.
You will also notice a reflection of my eldest sister, Sheree Williams.  Her birthday was on the 15th of July (the day of this recording).  She would have been 49 years old.  It has been 8 years since her transition, and I continue to celebrate her life and legacy.
I even talk about my family pet in this episode.  You will also hear me sing  a bit of the song, "In Christ Alone."
