In this episode I reflect on my marriage of 19 years and the cycle of emotional abuse.  I want us to stop normalizing abuse and end the cycle of domestic violence in the home.  This is for the many people who suffer in silence.  It took me a long time to accept that I was a victim.  I had to get to a place where i acknowledge it, so that I can heal.  You are not alone.  You can heal!  I pray for both the victim and the abuser, because at some point the abuser was the victim.  Do not remain broken, but heal!!  Trauma is real and there are resources available for you.

I thought about giving this the title: Jesus is Calling You.  I know He is calling you out of that place of bondage into a place of freedom.   In this episode I emphasize the importance of knowing God's individual purpose for your life so you can ignore the negative messages that hold you back from stepping out by faith.

In this season of life, where things are always uncertain, we need to check our village.  Who are you supporting and who is supporting you?  Do you have good friends? Can you discern a shady friend vs. a good friend?  The bible admonishes us to love God and to love our neighbors as ourselves.  Listen as I share my encounter with a shady person.  Nothing deep, just another moment on the journey.  I mention about Mantle Conference 2023 - by Joshua Giles.  I was in Minneapolis, Minnesota for the conference and it was amazing!!!  I came home revived!
