The guys are indeed motherfucking back and shit. Jon and Schif have been enjoying the summer, but football has been footballing, so it's time for some SveNFL!

The pod kicks off with some updates. Schif has been living his best life along the coast in Italy while Jon got to know the south of Sweden a little better.

Meanwhile, the Paris Olympics have begun, which means the fellas are watching random sports. Shout out to Swedish judo medalist Tara Babulfath, who had Schif watching judo. Jon's new passion is women's 7-on-7 rugby.

There's some NFL talk as well, with movement constantly going on in our favorite league. Top 100 is still stupid, but new faces on teams are fun to discuss. Some players got paid, while others are risking it all for holdouts.

Jon shakes off his soundboard rust, while Schif brings the news and updates in another classic SveNFL episode!

This is when fan imagination can go wild. It's all on paper, but it's all we really needs as fans of this wonderful sport. After some news updates, Jon and Schif go through the schedule and highlight the week one matchups they're excited about. They try to get a read on what the NFL was trying to do with the schedule through prime time matchups and international games. What teams seemingly got a rougher go at it this year? Which teams should have it easy. History has proven that at least three playoff teams from the previous season will be replaced by another team the next season. The Offseason Drama Continues!

Stefon Diggs is finally out of Buffalo. The pundits all say this could be the end of an era in Buffalo with the team in salary cap hell and not the best wide receiver corps. Does this mean that Josh Allen will be exposed? Will he rise to the occasion and prove that he never needed Diggs anyway?

Schif is fulfilling his NFL withdrawal by trying to find a Swedish hockey team to support. Jon prefers to keep it closer to football by trying to get himself a UFL team to get excited about.

A lot has happened in the NFL, with the Steelers gambling on a Wilson/Fields quarterback room. Can this work? Is this a setup for an insatiable fan base? Can this be Mike Tomlin's undoing? The Chargers fumbled away a shot at AFC dominance under a QB rookie deal and now have had to make some hard decisions. That wide receiver room looks pretty paltry now. Obviously Herbert needs to get paid, but what does that mean for this Harbaugh team? Is it bare bones for a true reset? Is this too big of an issue for even Jim?

Caleb Williams had his own pro day, and *gasp* he looked good. Marvin Harrison Jr. decided to depend on his tape and forego any combine/pro day performances. Will that drop his draft stock?

Trickle-down economics didn't really work out, but can trickle-down scandals be a thing? Jerry Jones' paternity scandal followed an anti-School integration scandal and now his quarterback is involved in a more serious scandal involving sexual misconduct, extortions and lawsuits. Super Bowl LVIII (yeah we know our Roman numerals) is in the books and the Kansas City Chiefs are at the top of the mountain! All Glory to God and Taylor Swift!

Schif bathed in the glory of another apparent Kyle Shanahan meltdown while Jon tried to defend the former Falcons OC. It was a good game, and yet another soul snatched for the greatest QB of this generation. Schif knew the results anyway, considering he wrote the script.
