Week 12 is upon us!

The season is getting close to it's end and teams are trying to make their moves for the future. This means teams are trying to get healthier and adjust schemes, or kicking the tires on players to see what to go with for the future. As always, injuries and suspensions and fines are finalized. Schif's got the updates we all need.

The playoff picture is starting to take form. The guys take a look at how things would be if the playoffs began right now. Then they discuss what they think will happen. The takes are taking.

Week 11 is in the books!

The guys are back to go through all of the week 11 action. Jon is kind of happy about a win for his Dolphins, but still bummed about the current state of his team. Schif is all-around bummed by his underperforming Falcons who are now without their starting quarterback.

However, the league did not disappoint this week, with maybe the best slate of games we've had all season. There were overtime games, walk-off scores, comebacks and only a couple of blowouts. Parity wins the day every day! Some teams stood out as potential frontrunners, while others might be packing it up for the year. The guys break it all down.

Week 11 is upon us!

We're in the double-digit weeks of the season, meaning it's coming to a close. Some teams are out of the pictures while others are quoting Lloyd Christmas in Dumb and Dumber: So you're telling me there's a chance! Other teams are cruising to a top playoff spot and hope to continue trending in that direction.

Schif starts off this episode with some sad news and some interesting news as well as some updates. The NFL never rests, so listen up as the guys break it down. It's that time of the year where some fans find other teams to root for as their teams seem to be out of the picture. What's Schif's team(s) this year? Who's Jonathan pulling for? Who do you like?

Then the guys gear up to make predictions. Schif wins the coin toss and is in play to make big gains on Jonathan, considering he got all of the easy picks (according to Jonathan). Week 10 is in the books!

Now that we're more than halfway through the season, the playoff race is heating up. Teams are falling into position and our guys are here for it! Jon is on cloud nine because his Dolphins dominated the Bills. Where has this been all season? Is there hope for his team, or is this another set up for heartbreak? Schif is in the normal Falcons fan "what-if" purgatory, as he wonders if things would be different if his team went with a different coach instead of Raheem Morris.

Some games were letdowns this weekend (Hi Broncos/Raiders and Eagles/Packers), while others were filled with excitement (Hi Jaguars/Texans). The Patriots annoyingly look like a force to be reckoned with (AGAIN!) and the Browns look like they're mailing it in. The Giants fumbled away another lead and are changing coaches. Are the Bengals gearing up for the same move? There's a lot to discuss and our boys do it as they always do.

Week 10 is upon us!

The guys are back as the league gets more interesting. The trade deadline has passed and this season produced the most trades at the deadline since the 90s. GMs are active! Some teams that were thought to be active (Hi Dolphins!) didn't do as much as expected. While others (Hi Eagles!) continued to try and improve their rosters. Schif breaks down the most impactful moves.

Then the guys make their predictions. Schif wins the coin toss and makes a smart decision of pick order so that he can close the season deficit. Time will tell if that pays off. Week 9 is in the books!

The guys are still pretty much clueless about this season of the NFL. Incorrect predictions were abound this week. A few games proved the "any given Sunday" mantra is still real. Some teams continue to shock the league (Hi Seahawks and Patriots), while others keep coming up short (Hi Raiders and Bengals) while others are ripping it all apart and starting from scratch (Hi Dolphins!).

Jon is bummed about some life developments and his team, while Schif was left heartbroken again by his. Such is life as a football fan. But the guys promised to cover all the games, and that they do!

Week 9 is upon us!

The guys are back and ready to predict! First Schif gives some updates on potential last-minute trades, injuries and roster moves. Gambling is still having its effect on the league with one team worried about getting in trouble for incorrectly categorizing a key player's injury status. We can't mess with the money!

Then the guys get to Flip 'Em & Pick 'Em, where Jon holds on to his lead over Schif, who may or may not be overusing his asterisks. Are there rules and etiquette in the asterisk game? Only time will tell. Schif calls, and we're off. Asterisks are abound again as predictions fly.

Week 8 is upon us!

That's right, we're almost at the halfway point of the season and our guys are at that part of the calendar that they circled as soon as the schedule came out. The Dolphins are playing the Falcons! Unfortunately the season has panned out the way it has and this looks like it will be a one-sided affair where the Falcons will be rolling into a "trap game" of sorts because the Dolphins suck so bad. So much for a rivalry atmosphere! Luckily there are other games going on this week to focus on. No apparent barnburners by the looks of it, but you never know with this NFL. We may have some diamonds in the rough. First Schif updates us on news and notes from around the league.

Jon still leads Flip 'Em & Pick 'Em for now. Tails never fails (allegedly), so he will call heads and see how that works out. Check out the picks and one asterisk. Week 7 is in the books!

The guys are licking their wounds this week. Jon's Dolphins look like a bottom three team while Schif's Falcons continue to be inconsistent at the very least. One of them still has hope! Thankfully there was some exciting football to distract from the pain, with a crazy comeback orchestrated by the Nix-led Broncos. The Colts look to be the ultimate surprise franchise as they continue pulling ahead of the rest of the division. Did we mention that the Panthers are second in the NFC South now? What the heck is going on? Baker got a spanking at the hands of a peaking Lions team that seems to be taking no prisoners right now.
