This is probably the most common question I get asked... and understandably so.
With new platforms coming out seemingly every day, it's hard to know which are worth your time.
For me it comes down to one simple litmus test:
Does the platform provide new or small users with the chance to reach fresh, organic, and relevant audiences at scale?
If it does, then it might be worth your time.
Take Tik Tok for example- the For You Page is entirely comprised of curated content from accounts that you don't already follow. So as a creator, that's a great opportunity for people that don't already follow you to see you.
On the flip side, Facebook probably isn't the best bang for your buck right now. Engagement rates are less than .1% (meaning your content is hardly getting shown to your own followers, much less potential new ones).
Try applying this to other platforms and features you know of, and let me know if you have any questions!
