Jesus often said He had come to serve. One of the most profound ways he demonstrated to us what it means to serve others is by washing His disciples' feet - something that even Peter protested vehemently against. Continuing Syndal's 'Pass It On' series, Mike Poustie shares with us how being willing to serve is essential to sharing Christ with others, as well as how Jesus' act of service points directly to His saving work on the cross, the greatest act of service the world has ever known.

PASS IT ON There is a far better and more effective way of sharing the story of Jesus Christ with others than simply throwing the message of Jesus in someone's direction. We must enter into a person's own story. It takes time and effort to understand another person's story, but by engaging with them (especially through listening, sharing meals, and serving), we gain the right to share with them part of our story, and share the greatest Story of all - Jesus Christ and the salvation he offers. Guest speaker Kim Hammond wraps up and draws together the Pass It On series, showing how Knowing Christ and making Christ known is grounded in the stories we all have to tell.
