Maturity stages build on each other. They have a compounding effect. You cannot fully complete any stage without having completed the one before it, so it's important to go back and check for gaps and work on getting those closed up, so you can more fully be who God created you to be in your current stage of life.
The Elder stage of Maturity is the most crucial and lease reached stage of maturity. Without True Elders in our community we fail to know who we are and how it is for us, as humans to act. The goal of Elders is to sacrificially care of the community, with joy. We are living in the result of a world without True Elders.
Join Tennison and Ginelle as they continue to explore this stage of maturity. As in every level of maturity, elders also have Tasks that they must do to be fully mature and an asset in their community. They need to be secure in their identity and able to say and do the hard thing regardless of the "fallout". True Elders also set the identity of the community and not standards.

You will know you are at the parent stage when you can sacrificially care for your children or the next generation without resenting the sacrifice with joy or expecting to receive anything for your efforts. You may feel exhausted or overwhelmed at times but you still will be able to appreciate, not begrudge, your sacrifice. The parent stage of maturity starts with the birth of your first child and goes until your youngest child becomes an Adult.
Join Tennison and Ginelle as they conclude their discussion on the parent stage of maturity. People who are operating in this stage but have not fully matured in the 3 previous stages can cause incredible pain to the ones that they are caring for and leading. Most leaders that wound others have not fully matured in this stage as well.
Also, learn what you can do when/if you see or know someone who needs to grow in this stage of maturity. You don't want to miss this episode.

You will know when a person has graduated from the child level of maturity to the adult level because he will shift from being a self-centered child to a both-centered adult. While a child needs to learn me-centered fairness (how do I make it fair for me), an adult learns we-centered fairness (how do I make it fair for us). Mutuality is the trademark of an adult because he can take care of two people at the same time.
Join Tennison and Ginelle as they conclude the Adult stage of maturity and look at some of the obvious holes that you will see in adults who have not fully matured in the this stage. Learn the importance of community and the benefits it brings as you are growing into a mature adult!
